On July 21, 2023, at Hotel Marigold, Hyderabad, Marham Resonating Resilience, in collaboration with the Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Society (TSCS), proudly presented "Triumph over Thalassemia - From One Prick Today to Prick-Free Future" This impactful event featured a thought-provoking panel discussion on the crucial topic of Thalassemia screening in pregnancy.
Renowned clinical director and HOD of Care Hospital, Padma Shri Awardee Dr. Manjula Anagani, served as the Cause Ambassador and participated in the panel alongside distinguished experts: Dr. Krishna RSV, Consultant Pediatrics at Ankura Hospital; Dr. Chinmayee Ratha, Fetal Medicine Specialist; Dr. Prajnya Ranganath, Additional Professor & HOD, Medical Genetics (NIMS); Dr. Suman Jain, Secretary & CEO of TSCS; and Dr. Isha Polavarpu, MD in Hematology & Blood Transfusion Consultant at Yashoda Hospital.
The event successfully achieved its goal, fostering increased awareness among the attending gynaecologists.
